Douglas Okero, Founder

On March 21, 2007 Douglas founded The Douglas Okero Group. Douglas has a passion for business and events with extensive expertise and knowledge in events management, charity partnerships, sales, marketing, community relations and engagement. His background is attributed to his education at University of the Fraser Valley and business experience in multinational corporations and events industry.

His ability to continuously establish new business relations, establish strategic partnerships, network and be a leader in project management is a vital asset required in any competitive business environment. Douglas possesses the skills, knowledge, values, integrity and passion of what it takes to be a part of an organization. He maintains a great passion in events, charities and community relations while manifesting integrity in long-term business and organization development.

Douglas has volunteered and been involved in a number of local and international charities namely, Rotary International, Hope International, Rotaract, and University of the Fraser Valley International Development Student Association, Childcare Canada and Rotary Youth Leadership Awards.

As a businessman, Douglas upholds the same principles, philosophies, ethics and standards that elevated him to his current position as a business owner. As always he will continue to treat clients with respect and integrity in order to be a leader in business relations. With a background in sales and communications, Douglas believes in manifesting integrity in long-term business development.
